Professional Portfolio

Systems Administration | Networking | Infrastructure

This site documents personal infrastructure projects and software tools developed as part of my work in information technology and system administration. This portfolio is hosted on a self-hosted Linux server and is deployed through a containerized web server as part of a broader environment used for testing and operating self-hosted services.

I am focused on systems administration, networking, and information systems security. I like work that combines problem solving with real equipment, real users, and real consequences: keeping services available, figuring out why something broke, documenting the fix, and improving the setup so the same issue is less likely to happen again.

Most of my learning has come from building and maintaining my own lab environment alongside my coursework. That has given me hands-on practice with server administration, storage planning, access control, remote services, monitoring, and troubleshooting across different layers of a system.

What I Am Building Toward

  • Reliable systems that are organized, documented, and maintainable.
  • Networking and security skills that go beyond theory and into day-to-day administration.
  • Software tools that solve practical problems instead of just existing as class assignments.
  • A portfolio that shows steady growth through projects I actually use and maintain.

I am currently working toward a B.S. in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Information Systems Security. My goal is to keep developing into the kind of IT professional who can understand the full picture: the user, the workstation, the network, the server, the application, and the security risks connecting all of it.
